Grasstile started as a personal experiment — a developer who kept finding reasons to stay inside, scrolling instead of doing anything about it.
The gap between wanting to go outside and actually going is where most of us get stuck. Grasstile exists to close that gap in under 30 seconds. It doesn't need you to commit to a hike, a plan, or a whole afternoon. It just needs to know how you feel right now.
No streaks. No points. No notifications that shame you for missing a day. We built Grasstile to get out of your way — the goal is to get you outside, not to get you addicted to another screen.
The travel planner is a real tool for people who want to plan bigger trips. But the core thing — the Touch Grass button — exists to help you do one small real thing today. That's all.
We use location to find nearby outdoor ideas. That's it. We don't store movement history. We don't sell location data. You can use the demo without sharing your location at all.
